The advice below can be of great help while going for jog:
 

  • Wear reflective materials if you’re running in the early morning or at night.
  • Take your mobile phone with you
  • Choose well-lit, populated routes and avoid dangerous and isolated areas.
  • Do not eat heavily very close to the time you intend to jog.
  • Always ensure you eat a healthy and well-balanced diet daily.
  • Drink plenty of water before, during and after your jogging routine. Avoid dehydration.
  • Make sure the music is not loud. Please stay alert and aware of your environment.
  • Tell someone where you plan to run and when you intend to be back.
  • If you get injured or you are not feeling well while jogging, stop immediately and call out for medical help.
